Where Are You Based?
The Filthy Gorgeous is based in Devon, although we're happy to travel all over the UK & outside of the UK.
How Long Do You Play For?
We play up to 2 x 1 Hour sets with (ideally) a 30 minute break in between. We can supply background music before we play and party music between the sets and for 30 minutes after we finish. If you would like us to play for longer or have music for longer after we finish this can be arranged.
What Do You Wear?
We always dress for the occasion; singers are dressed semi-formally with the band in shirts and waistcoats.
How Long Does It Take To Set Up?
To set up all of the equipment ready to play it takes us two hours. We then need aprox. 30 minutes to get changed ready to play. If there isn't enough time between setting up and performance then we can arrange an early set up on the day and be set and cleared before the event for a small extra cost.
We require a minimum space of 5m x 3m (ideally) for the band to set up and perform, with two hours for us to set up (If there's not enough time we can do an early set up for a small extra cost as above). A minimum of two dedicated 13 amp (3-pin) sockets near to the performing area that are not shared with anything else i.e. disco, fridges, kettle's etc. as this avoids tripping out the power. Where possible, a room to change in and some refreshments is really welcome!
